Pour batter into greased 9x13 pan. Then, pour 1/2 cube melted butter over the top (do not mix). Bake for 25 minutes at 400 degrees. Cut in pieces, drizzle with Maple Syrup, serve.

it's called HOOTENANNY. a southern appalachian favorite. it's like a big pancake you bake in the oven. 1 cup flour, 1 cup milk, 5 eggs, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon vanilla. mix together pour in 9x13 pan. pour 1/4 melted butter over top and bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes. eat with maple syrup

These pancakes work even better if you make the batter a day ahead and chill it over night. Just whisk to combine again before cooking. We used an individual crepe pan, but you can make one twelve-inch pancake in a cast-iron skillet and serve it cut into wedges.

I strongly identify myself as a pancake connoisseur, and these are the best pancakes I've EVER had. I mean, I'll take pancakes over a steak dinner any day of the week! The only thing I did differently was that I used 1 1/2 tsps of coconut flavoring and 3/4 c of regular milk. I also topped it off with homemade blueberry syrup and coconut flakes. Seriously, I almost cried! :D

Puff pancakes (German Pancakes) Place muffin pan in the oven while it preheats to 400. Blend: 1/2 C. Flour, 3/4 C. Milk, 2 large eggs, and 1/8 teas. Salt.
