See what other colors go with different shades of purple to help you put together your p...

Master Bedroom built-ins and window seat. Paint color in this room is insipid, and would prefer dark wood for the built-in and window seat, to match the rest of our MBR. Good ideas, though.

With such rich details and elegant finishes, the narrowness of this beautiful bedroom becomes an afterthought. Ample window treatments, a flowing bed skirt, and gilded finishes all give the room presence, beyond its diminutive size. www.bhg.com/...

This powder-blue living room is from Better Homes & Gardens. Here's how they describe it: "Colors don't need to be bright or bold to make a big impact in a space. In this room, powder blue walls and a white fireplace make a pleasant pair. Identical straight-back chairs and ottomans pull color from the walls, while decorative rosy pink pillows add a touch of warmth. For a little shine, choose a bejeweled chandelier to complete an elegant look."

Small Spaces - I chose this space because it reminded me on my apartment in Russia. Though much smaller than this, our living room functioned indeed as a space for living. It served as a family room, a dining room, and a bedroom. In this beautiful space, I love the rustic country dinner table that makes a bold statement in a very faminine, soft modern space.

Coloring Inside the Lines: With an upholstered headboard and side rails, there's no need to fuss with a bed skirt. The streamlined look provides the perfect foundation for a mix of textured linens in this bedroom. A long and lean piece of neat art echoes the straight lines of the bed. chandelier

sweet. Great beginning for a romantic vintage wedding, maybe an afternoon or an the backyard of a Victorian cottage. Small, intimate, can you see it?

Crisp white walls and trim and hotel-chic bedding serve as striking counterpoints to this bedroom's chocolate-brown wall. A geometric pattern ties the two main colors together, while yellow photo mats and throw pillows introduce a playful splash of color. Two X benches round out the foot of the bed, adding a modern punctuation point and portable seating to the room.

this is such a cheerful enclosed porch filled with sunny colors and plenty of pattern >> I agree, so beautiful!

Thinking of painting the our paneling in the living room, and adding wood floors like this. This has a very nice look.

I like the basket next idea for next to the rocking chair. Maybe it could be where the cat and dog toys could live. A cover would make it a great hidden storage and it would be in easier reach for us to play with them. If it was strong enough we could sit on it and it would double as a place to put on your shoes when going out the door.
