4th of July wreath with ribbons...at my home anytime wreath. Saluting the red, white, and blue is never not in style!

Sewn Paper Garland - Punch out a stack of stars from different patterned papers. Randomly arrange and rearrange stars on a large table. Run each star through the sewing machine. Grab a few at a time, so you aren't constantly stopping and starting your machine. Also sew towards a point, not from one, in case the point would get caught or bend. It takes less than 10 minutes.

Candy Cane Holiday Wreath- This is probably the easiest idea to have your kids do. The styrofoam ring can be found in the craft section/store, yarn and any decorations you like to add. Wrap the yarn and tie off. Use yarn to tie the decorations on also. No gluing necessary. Instead of yarn you could use strips of wrapping paper and tape it around the ring.
