Salted Caramel Chocolate Shortbread Bars. Pinner said You say "salted caramel" anything and I am sold. ***Made these for a party at work and didn't take any leftovers home. They are CRAZY rich - taste kind of like homemade Twix bars, but SO much better. Absolutely sinful.
Apple Pie Caramel Apples. I tried these and although I made a huge mess out of my kitchen in the process, they were delicious!! They tasted like the ones from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. But in the recipe she said to use white chocolate...WRONG...I used white almond bark. You could also probably use the vanilla candy melts they sell in the cake decorating section of A.C.Moore, etc.
Mini Oreo cheesecake- fun variation on the Nilla wafer mini cheesecakes. The cream cheese is very delish with the sour cream in it. I used light sour cream and 1/3 less fat cream cheese. They took a while longer to bake, but otherwise turned out just fine. A little bit of a crust on the top which may not be there if using full fat? Definitely good enough to make again :)
Carmel Apple Cheesecake Bars: Personal Note: Definitely makes more than 16 bars/servings. Could do with less cheesecake in the middle. (I used 1 less bar of cream cheese.)
Spread snickers on bottom of pie crust. Next layer the apples next. Then drizzle caramel on top. Combine cool whip, cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk together in a small bowl and spread on top. Drizzle with caramel and a few snickers. Place in refrigerator for at least 2 hours. Take out about 5 minutes before serving and top with fresh apple slices.
