The Michigan Theater...This isn't really a "favorite" place, but it absolutely blows my mind. I didn't realize what we were driving into. Suddenly I happened to look up and about fell over when I saw this.

The 6 story lobby of the Detroit Fox Theater. It is unique in having a lobby organ in addition to the Wurlitzer in the auditorium. There were only 4 theatres in the world like ths, and the Fox's is the only one still in it's original spot. This lobby has to be grand and opulent to prepare patrons for the even grander lofty 10 story auditorium.

Michigan. Even though living here may hurt at times for one reason or another, I still love you and call you my home. ♥
