Spring garden ideas- pvc pipe planter for strawberry plants :)

Flower Tower - Freestanding Vertical Planter ~ Disney world does this! Lowes sells the 4 to 6" round PVC pipe with holes already drilled. Purchase an end cap, fill with rock, soil, and plant. I will often put these in the center of a very large pot to stabilize, and add amazing height and color to a container that has trailing plants (no end cap or rock needed if you are placing in a container)

DIY Vertical Planter Garden. Something I would do differently, or add to it, is support under each planter. I worry the weight of the dirt, water, and plants will eventually concave the planters. Adding one more piece of wood (obviously cut into proper lengths) wouldn't cost that much more for a little more security.

A vertical planter accommodates growing in a very small area while conserving water with top-down irrigation. The only concern here is with using PVC.

I love this stacked container garden. This is made by simply threading a length of metal rebar through the holes of the pots. (this same look is really pretty when planting with vinca and other flowing flowers)
