Russian biologist Alexander Semenov graduated in 2007 from Moscow State University’s zoology department where he studied invertebrate animals. Specifically: squid brains. Now he works as the chief of his diving team at the White Sea Biological Station, camera always in-hand, where he’s captured some of these extraordinary photographs of jellyfish and other wildlife.
Dakuwaqa's Dream - Scuba diving in the Fiji islands in the south Pacific ocean. Underwater caves, deep blue clear water, scuba divers, sea snakes, and colorful coral reefs exploding with tropical fish and other marine life. A slower pace than most of my other videos.
“We know only too well that what we are doing is nothing more than a drop in the ocean. But if the drop were not there, the ocean would be missing something.” -Mother Theresa
I always wanted to go somewhere I wouldnt normally want to go . I picked Figi. I was afraid to go because of the heat and sunburn. But it was Fabulous. I lotioned up and did all I wanted to do. I met a Canadian to do things with. It was a blast. I had the best time. It was a fantasy I never knew I would love so much
Fiji Reef with anthias. Beautiful shot, but doesn't compare to the incredible reef life and jaw dropping colors of Palancar Caves of Cancun, Mexico. If you can only scuba dive at one spot in the world, chose The Palancar Caves (not caves, just very tall columns of coral, and always open, never dark.) Somebody decided to say caves, for effect i guess.
