Learn these creative ways to showcase your new students.

No, this isn’t a bulletin board, but it would make an adorable classroom border/display and a fabulous project for your kiddos to help you with! We found the idea on Pinterest – the photo collage/idea can be credited to Sonja Photography – and just had to post it! All you need is a little time, a digital camera, and some willing kiddos to help you create!

Interactive vocabulary wall. Writing minilesson on word choice- add an overused word and brainstorm synonyms.

I like the idea. Wouldn't use for Valentine's Day, but maybe a character piece with the individual snow flakes working together to make the one snowman..

Kindergarten and Elementary Back To School Door Display and Bulletin Board Idea... so cute!

Cumulative - (This is the site, not the actual page - couldn't find picture on that page that was big enough.) "Our Knowledge is Piling Up" snow bulletin board - could put different units we've completed with summaries of each on them on snowflakes, or have students write on snowflakes what they've learned and pile them up across the bottom of the board

This person's entire Flickr series is great. I really want to have engaging display boards like this and change my displays constantly. Gahhh so good.

Crayon Welcome Door (maybe for a bulletin board instead!) ... this site has tons of bulletin board ideas!

Cool Bulletin Board idea to "spotlight" a student or famous person. I would do both. Maybe every week a different actor, playwright, designer, etc to research to extra credit or a weekly report, and every now and then a student, to make them feel special having been up on the same wall as a big name.
