Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince - J. K. Rowling The book is so much better, even tho I absolutely love the movie, but the book has so much more detail and the movie missed a lot!

I have the US and Bloomsbury editions, wouldn't mind adding a few more to my collection though lol

Oh, how I wish Rowling had stuck to her guns and killed off Arthur Weasley instead of Sirius Black! Not because I dislike Weasley; but because I love Sirius so much...

harry potter challenge day 1: favorite book. it's tough to pick, but I love this one. it gave me lupin (favorite. flawless. love him), and sirius (who doesn't love a misunderstood badass?) and it was much darker and more serious than the first two. also, character development? things not being as they seem? conflict? yes, please.
