I would make this poster and put it up in my classroom to help model thinking and guide my students thinking process while reading.

cute idea of teaching the sound "oo" with Fruit Loops! I did something like this with my kindergartners last year and they loved it. :)

Boggle game. We used something similar at film-maker's camp for 10-13 year olds. Whatever film-making term they learned that day became the word to do a "boggle-like" activity eith. It went over very well.

I love this! It is so important for students to see models! Using a rubric scale to compare weak and strong writing models is a great way for students to begin to reflect on their own writing!
