"Food photography Kwestia Smaku," by Kwestia-Smaku, via Flickr. -- What the text on the photo says (with one notable question!) is: "Salad with figs and goat cheese on young spinach leaves logs [huh?] vinaigrette with olive oil, lemon juice and honey." [I can only assume the "logs" might have something to do either with "dressed with" or "wild spinach"; I get choices of logs, clearing, glade, or meadow. Given that I don't speak Polish, it's total conjecture. "Polana" anyone?]

Fig salad with honey, goat cheese and rucola
"Polana" means rather "dressed with" in this case (from "polać" = "pour sth over sth")

Honey'd Fig and Goat Cheese Ice Cream. I made this and while the name might not sound appetizing, the ice cream itself is fantastic and unique.
Fig and goat cheese pizza. I buy gluten free pizza dough from a local restaurant and this is one of the best things I have ever eaten. You can use dried figs if need be, just soak them for a long time until plump and soft.
