Make sure your jars are clean, mix a good dollop of mod podge and a few drops of food coloring together until you get the desired color.  Then you simply start painting the colored mod podge on the outside of your jar.  This is me attempting to make an "ombre" effect jar... 1 tsp of glue : 3 drops of food colouring : 1.5 tsp of water.  The more food colouring the darker the jar will be. In order to make a turquoise shade you will need two drops of blue and 1 drop of green.

DIY Beach Glass      Directions:    1) Start with clean, dry glass bottles and jars and prepare your workspace.  2) Mix the school glue and water as if you were making homemade mod podge.  Just mix 2-3 parts glue to 1 part water.  3) Add a few drops of blue and green food coloring. Add more blue or green depending on your preference.  Add just a little dish liquid.

Mix mod podge or elmers glue with food coloring, "paint" the outside of a vase, and let it dry :)  Just don't get it wet
