I used this board to practice PSSA math skills during March and connected it with basketball and March Madness. At the end of each week students shot one basket for each math page they completed correctly. The leader in points each week won a prize. I had 3 pages per student and 1 bonus available each week. The pages were based on the students individual math levels

MATH IS COOL! To display the symbols commonly used in Math, the side of a file cabinet came in handy and, so did Joe Cool, for this second grade classroom.

Interesting!! For my visual-learner Hayden! Teaching multiplication, Japanese Style...it is kind of confusing but as you study the picture, it finally clicks. (last step: count the RED dots in the circled groups and u get those final numbers to add up)
