Easy & Delicious. The chicken literally fell off the bone when I lifted it out of the crock pot to put on a serving platter. (PS-I threw some carrots in too, they were amazing, the kids even ate them)
SLOW COOKER ENCHILADA! This "Taste of Home" recipe is one we've been making for about 10+ years. It is so good and versatile! We usually add/substitute ingredients each time we make it, so it is always a new taste. Sometimes we add corn...or extra cheese...or salsa...or taco seasoning packets instead of the separate seasonings...or chicken instead of beef...etc. Enjoy!
Slow Cooker Jambalaya. 1 pound skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - cut into 1 inch cubes 1 pound smoked turkey sausage, sliced 1 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoes with juice 3 Tbsp dried minced onion flakes 1 cup chicken broth 2 teaspoons dried oregano 2 teaspoons dried parsley 2 tsp minced garlic 2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme white rice or instant rice (2 packs Uncle Ben's Ready Rice).
