    ART NOUVEAU - In 'Lefèvre-Utile' Alphonse Mucha portrays a beautiful woman in the flowing and elegant style for which he is famous. Lefevre Utile biscuits, (LU) is from the founders surnames, Mr Lefèvre and his wife, Pauline Utile. The initials LU were used by Alphonse Mucha for an 1897 calendar for the Lefèvre-Utile Biscuit Company.
