Old dresser turned into Kitchen Island...I did this in my kitchen with the dresser I had as a baby (extra special!!). I put my baking pans in the bottom drawer, baggies/foil/shrinkwrap in the middle, and "snacky" stuff in the top. I really like the addition of the tea cup hooks for tools. Dresser Turned Bench- might take this idea and throw my own spin on it. make it lower to the ground. and ea. kid a window seat in their br. use the drawer to put blankets or as storage... a throw pillow to match the seat and maybe a little bookshelf on the side to hold a few of their favourite stories.
