    Homemade Apple Chips 1 lg Granny Smith apple 2 tbsp light brown sugar 1 tbsp cinnamon Preheat oven to 225 deg. Line 2 baking shts w/parchment paper. Using mandoline, slice apples thin. Mix sugar & cinnamon in shallow bowl. Dip slices lightly in mixture. Lay slices on baking shts, about 12 slices/sht. Bake 1 hr. Remove pans & flip slices oven. When you rtn pans to oven, rotate them-put 1 on top rack on bottom. Bake 1 more hr. Remove pans. Slices will start to harden up quickly. Remove w/tongs.
