I have the same oak cabinets!! using the rope detail is brilliant!! Other pinner said: Java Gel Stain for staining furniture dark. This seriously rocks! Changes my life! No sanding! What? That's right no sanding! Just wipe it on. This is from me, Ann...this blogs says to sand lightly, but the guy at the store in slc, said no sanding is required! I used it on a huge entertainment center and it is awesome...and so pretty! Love it!
