Simple craft I will make. Crayons and a hair dryer

Melted crayon art - I made a huge mess when I tried this, likely won't do it again. :) The blow dryer splashed crayon all over, even on low, and it took forever to melt the crayons. I tried Crayola brand as well as several off-brands. I love the idea but wasn't thrilled with the results.

Paint an eye onto the canvas and then glue small pieces of crayon underneath it. Melt the crayons with a hair dryer and you'll get an effect like this!

melted crayon art. Jordan tried doing this for a birthday present for me, but it didn't turn out as she had hoped. Now she can try again if she'd like.

Melted Crayon Art. Great way to recycle those crayons and get a great house decor!

Not a huge fan of artsy things but I thought this was too cool & so cute!

Love the idea of adding the silhouettes!! Go online and google silhouettes. Print them, use an exacto knife to cut the shapes out, then trace them on the canvas and paint them black.

From Dishfunctional Designs: School Supply Shopping: It's Not Just for Students -- great craft ideas from school supplies! Could spend all day getting ideas!!!

Crayon Art-I would love to make one of these, but trust me, it's harder than it looks. Mostly because the crayon doesn't come out that thick and opaque, but also because it's difficult to control the direction is goes in using a hair dryer and oven mitts :/

First time I've seen the melted crayon art idea in a heart shape... I think this is my favorite iteration of them all!
