Farm House Bread Recipe - Soured regular milk with vinegar since I was out of buttermilk. Heated water and butter in microwave until butter is melted, then added to milk. Whisk yeast, sugar, egg and salt to milk mixture, cover and let proof until it begins to thicken on top. Then add to flour in mixing bowl. I do not have a bread machine. Kneaded dough for about 8 to 10 minutes with dough hook on kitchenaid mixer. Hubby loved!
