Literacy Work Stations I would use this activity with third grade. It would be integrated language arts and art. I would have the students pick out a book that they wanted to read. Then after selecting that book, as a class, we would make sections of this book report task cards so that everyone could have a say so what goes on each card. We could color or paint each card.
spin-a-sight-word station activity Mrs. Bremer's Kindergarten: Spin-A-Word Freebie & More Literacy Work Stations
Literacy Work Stations - but also good for some sensory-motor as well, especially if this is put on a vertical surface and the letters are lower (so there is bending and stretching incorporated) - the kids can also pick up a handful of letters to hold in one hand and serach with the other so that is a good in-hand manip task too - sorting and organizing - and so on, an overall good activity :)
