Use an old crib rail as a book shelf. I like this idea - it takes up zero floor space and the books are easy and accessible. Would need to figure out a way to secure it to the wall for long term use, and if you have little monkeys that want to climb it, that might be a problem too, but over all, great idea!
Hold on Tight bookshelf by ColleenAndEric.com - Even in the digital age, we all still have personal libraries of books we just can't let go of. Use the Hold on Tight bookshelf to keep your most treasured books upright, on display, and close at hand. A brightly-coloured aluminum cube and oversized wing nut serve as a sliding bookend which can be adjusted and secured wherever it is needed, whether your book collection is growing or shrinking. Offered in Beech, Walnut and Oak. (41"L x 11"H x 8"D).
Crib Spring Message Board - A great way to organize a kids room and save those precious moments of handmade pieces or even pictures inexpensively. Color coordinate with the child's room and use vintage clothes pins to hold artwork.
Easy, affordable way to display books as well as creating an ever changing wall art space. The red background is a painted wall. Add some grooved wood molding painted same colour as wall. Attach some stretchy bungee rope secured to wall with hooks and it's done. This is a great space saving idea, when book shelves are not possible. Even a hallway could accommodate this clever reading area.
