I loved Mr. Moose and Dancing Bear on Captain Kangaroo.

Captain Kangaroo, Mr. Green Jeans, Mr. Moose, Bunny Rabbit--I was a faithful watcher. The theme song is my ring tone on my cell.

Captain Kangaroo...This kids show was on for 30 years ending the year after I graduated from high school in 1984. By this time the Captain had seen better days. When all said and done, the Captain and I shared some very forgettable 70’s TV moments. He like Mr. Rodgers also loved his puppets. The only good memory of this show was Mr. Green Jeans.

Captain Kangaroo - creepy, yes. But we loved him anyway...and Grandfather Clock, and Mr. Green Jeans, and moose and bunny and those darn ping pong balls. Oh yes, Mr Kangaroo, we love you.

Bob Keeshan aka Captain Kangaroo. I meet him once, I still have his autographed picture. I loved him when I was little and he was a gracious person when I met him as an adult.

An odd fascination with Mr. Green Jeans... portrayed by actor Hugh "Lumpy" Brannum on The Captain Kangaroo Show from 1955 to 1984.

Captain Kangaroo. Turtle Back Zoo was in my hometown. I wonder if there's a memorial to Bob Keeshan there...?

Captain Kangaroo was the longest running network children's show of all time - from 1955 until 1984,

Captain Kangaroo and Mr. Green Jeans

I loved Captain Kangaroo. I love when Mr. Moose would make the ping pong balls fall.
