    Wonderful Toddler Toy! Make from water bottle, fill 1/2 way with water, add glitter, pom poms, paperclips, ribbon, foam shapes, pony beads, small erasers etc. making sure to vary the colors, shapes, softness/hardness of the objects. Fill container the rest of the way with water. Hot glue cap to bottle and make sure to remove any excess glue. Let cool before you give it to your toddler.

I spy bottles with photos attached for the non-readers. Made with rainbow rice(food coloring and rubbing alcohol or 4 squirts of hand sanitizer and some drops of food coloring,,,mix this together in a ziploc bag then allow to dry!)

Creative Curriculum Objectives: 22, 26, 5, 24 Discovery bottles filled with colored water and glitter, rice and letters or numbers, or items related to a theme provide an opportunity for a time of self-directed exploration. After the initial exploration, student will search for specific objects in the bottle, discuss the contents of the bottle, and talk about cause and effect while moving or shaking the bottle.

Discovery in a Bottle: I decided to also use the Voss water bottles. It is worth it for the long term use of the bottles. They are very sturdy, no ridges like most bottled waters, and are easier for little curious minds to view what's inside them.
