Authentic Chiles Rellenos Recipe ~ This recipe and technique for authentic Chiles Rellenos has been passed down to us from ages ago. There is nothing more tasty than a roasted chiles pepper (without the seeds of course) to get your taste buds jumping.
Ingredients: 1 can (28 oz.) Whole Tomatoes with Juice 2 cans (10 oz.) Rotel (diced tomatoes and green chilies) 1/4 cup chopped onion 1 clove garlic minced 1 whole Jalapeno, quartered and diced, ( I removed seeds because we don't like things too hot you could choose to leave them, that is what P-Dub suggested.) 1/4 tsp. sugar 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. ground cumin 1/2 cup Cilantro juice of one lime (She said half, I used whole)
