Slow Cooker Taco Chicken Bowls I left out the cilantro and the corn (not a fan of either of those). I used dried black beans instead of canned. I'm not sure why they're called 'taco' bowls but they were tasty!
Crock Pot Taco Chicken Bowls | Recipe Knead 1½ lbs. chicken breasts 1 (16 oz.) jar salsa 1 (15 oz.) can black beans, drained ½ lb. (8 oz.) frozen corn 1 Tbsp chili powder ½ Tbsp cumin ½ Tbsp minced garlic ½ tsp dried oregano ¼ tsp cayenne pepper ¼ tsp salt to taste cracked pepper 2 cups dry rice 8 oz. shredded cheddar ½ bunch cilantro (optional) Directions: 1) Add everything except the rice, cheese, and cilantro to the slow cooker along with ¼ cup of water. Give everything a good stir and make sure the chicken is covered in the mixture. 2) Secure the lid on your slow cooker and cook on low for 8 hrs. 3) Near the end of the cooking time, cook the two cups of rice according to the package directions. 4) After 8 hours of cooking, carefully remove the lid of the slow cooker. Stir with a fork to shred the chicken. Build the taco bowls by placing rice on the bottom, then the taco chicken mix, shredded cheese and fresh cilantro.

chocolate chip bisquick cookies A few weeks ago I was going through my hundreds of cookbooks in the kitchen and rediscovered my Bisquick cookbook. I started looking through it and found a lot of really good recipes. We loved the Impossible Taco Pie we had for dinner recently, so I wanted to try another recipe from the cookbook. I decided on the chocolate chip cookies. I wanted to see if we could tell a difference from "regular" chocolate chip cookies. At first I wasn't sure about the cookies, so I ate another cookie and another and another. I concluded that they were pretty good, since I couldn't stop eating them! Next time I make these I am going to do half chocolate chips and half peanut butter chips. I think that would put these over the top! Bisquick Chocolate Chip Cookies (Printable Recipe) 1/2 cup butter, softened 1 cup brown sugar, packed 2 teaspoons vanilla 1 egg 2 3/4 cups Bisquick baking mix 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (6 oz) 1/2 cup nuts, chopped, if desired (optional) Heat oven to 375°F. In large bowl, mix butter, sugar, vanilla and egg. Stir in Bisquick mix, chocolate chips and nuts. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet, d about 2 inches apart; flatten slightly. Bake 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from cookie sheet to cooling rack.

Perfect for breakfast! Egg and avocado toast. Single serving: scramble 1 egg, use 1/2 an avocado and 1 piece of bread. I used salt and pepper to season the egg in the pan and in the bowl of avocado. Don't mush avocado too much, it should be a little chunky. Place avocado directly on toast, then lay scrambled egg on top. Do not put butter on toast. Serve open- faced with a fork and lightly drizzle hot sauce on top. I substituted Tapatio with Sriracha- Delish!
