Website where students can upload photos of themselves and fill it with words about themselves and their interests!

This is so neat. You upload a picture of yourself, and then add words and it makes this sort of thing. If we took the pictures and the computer teacher would let us do this in the computer lab, this could be really interesting. Maybe as a scrapbook accompaniment to the 8th grade project??

No more using the overhead!!! Silhouette making in 4 steps from a FREE website! Maybe for a "guess who" for open house? Or a parent gift?

Sillhouette Collage...Do their silhouettes and have them fill their heads with what's going on in their brain (what they like, think about, etc.). Can include writing assignment with the project.

Turn this into a bulletin board for the upper elementary/middle school/high school students to read about their teachers! {pic only}

Really cool website that lets you play with different rhythms (and they are represented as fractions of pies). You can change the sound effects and play and examine already notated popular rhythms.

"Snowball" Fight...I love doing this for a get to know you game and for a fun way to start a discussion...you can have the students write questions on the papers throw the around and then answer the ones next to them---though I have learned it is good to know how many questions you start with so you can make sure you find them all...they go in small nooks and crannies :P
