    Crescent roll pecan pie bars - update nov 2012-- these were not that good. The timing on the cooking was off, the recipe didn't make enough to fit the pan it called for. Needed at least 1/4 c more pecans. it would work if you have a craving, but unless you are desperate, i suggest sticking with my Williams Sonoma recipe.

    Crescent roll pecan pie bars - so yummy and so easy. These are great and travel well! Pecan Pie Bars Ingredients: 1 can of refrigerated crescent rolls 1/2 cup chopped pecans 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup corn syrup (dark or light, doesn't matter) 1 Tbsp butter, melted 1/2 tsp vanilla 1 egg, beaten Unroll dough and separate into 2 long rectangles; place in an ungreased 13x9" pan and press along the bottom and 1/2" up the sides, pressing the perforations firmly. 350 deg. for 8 minutes.

Crescent Pizza: Place prepared rolls, point side down, on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375°F. for 10 to 14 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from cookie sheet. Serve warm crescents with warm pizza sauce for dipping.
