Yo-yo painting--this looks so fun, I want to do it myself! Fill a cut-off stocking with dry beans (I'll probably use rice, because that's what we have). Dip it in paint, then pretend it's a yo-yo and bounce it on a piece of paper. So fun! Kids will love this painting activity. It was my very favorite when I was in preschool back in the old days!
HULA BLOCKERS:All you need is a couple of hula hoops and a bean bag. Set the hula hoops flat on the ground several feet apart (ours were about 8 feet or so). To play, each player stands in their own hula hoop and attempts to toss the bean bag into the other hoop. The defender tries to block the bean bag from landing inside the circle, by using their hands, feet, head, etc. to deflect it.
sponge painting for babies and toddlers - this would be a good idea for keeping the littles busy during school time if they're in the high chair!
