Venn diagrams using letters in kids' names - fun activity to start kids off when learning Venn diagrams. yay i'm teaching that this semester!
Conversations in Literacy: Kindergarten Letter Sorts. Could also use this idea in math in 2nd and 3rd when the students are sorting out the letters that have parallel and perpendicular lines. this could easily be turned into a smartboard activity
This is a cute partner project for winter. Take pictures of your students to use for the heads of these "snowman Venn diagrams." Then, have students compare and contrast what they have in common with their partners.
