During individual work, students put up fingers for what they need (bathroom, tissue, water, etc.) so that the teacher can nod to acknowledge the request without having to stop what she is doing with another child or have a long discussion about what the student needs. Visual reminders are hung in the room to show what each number stands for. 6374

I have Stop signs, but this will hold the students accountable for their behavior! If they don't know what they were doing then I will probably need to refresh them on the rules!
