cut up shirts; make them cute. But instead of tying, I'd just cut it short so it's cropped to about where my jeans start.

make for a swimsuit cover up? knot fringe. Great for beach wear and layering! I bet you could do a whole shirt like this! No need to purchase those cool new crocheted Tees. You can make your own! (Also, I bet you can cut a long strand around the shirt to your desired length and crochet with the original t-shirt's pattern.)
