WHEN THE CLOCK STRIKES "MONICA"... it must be the weekend! This is another shot from my early-1950s "Mother Time" publicity shoot, in which MGM's photographer had me romancing a grandfather clock in a variety of poses. This kind of free-wheeling creativity by the studio's lensman led to some memorable star images out of that mid-century Hollywood era. And they don't become any less interesting with the, well, passing of time
