Trace the hand in pencil. With a marker, draw a straight line until you get to the hand. Then make a curve from one line to the next, then continue the straight line.

This could be a neat project to do with almost any age. It's super simple to do; after tracing your hand, make a curved line connecting the two sides of your trace, make the outer lines straight. Could be a neat project to start about talk about 3-D Art! Very Cool! :) Jade Lins

A few days ago I posted a fractured art idea. I had a go at creating an example for my relief folder, & also to see how long it would take to complete! After scrunching the paper, & starting to trace over the lines, I decided to cut the A4 paper in half! It took 30 min to trace the lines & about 45 min to colour in. Not as long as I thought it would take! Plus that time included helping my little boy with his own cutting, glueing & colouring project.

Water color crayon resist artwork, an Original watercolour painting by Kirsten Bailey, but could be adapted for a children's art activity. Great for a fall wall hanging or spider picture for the fridge!
