It would be really neat if you could bring various instruments into the classroom and let students see and play them, talk about the role of music in culture. You can also tie this to Geography by having the students trace the path of the video on a globe or map while watching.

FREE Printable: Music Math Cards. LOVE THESE!! What a great idea. Students would obviously need to have some prerequisite knowledge of music theory before using these cards, but coupling music and math in a lesson grows well-rounded minds. It seems like an activity like this one would use both sides of the brain, not just the left side, as many math activities do.
