Window seating. I'm feeling creative today. I'm thinking this would be great if the window seat, rather than being a closed box type of bench seat with books piled in front of it, was the bookcase with open shelving for books and magazines. I've seen a few with bins under for storage but why not for display. Unless you have toddlers. Or pets who tear things up.

window seat? window bed? can't tell

I love the storage cubbies underneath for books and the timber framing outlining the nook.

In case you couldn't tell already, I like really sunlit, open areas -- the perfect places to read!

Cozy window nook-great for reading! I've seen the pins with closet reading nooks, which are great, but I just love reading in natural light. Maybe it's because it helps me stay awake :) but also it just puts me in a good mood.

Bed nook, for tiny bedrooms. Great way to keep a room looking streamlined and simple. Bonus: You can skip making the bed, just shut the doors instead.
