The Boxcar Children *One of my absolute favorite book series as a kid. This and goosebumps.

My kids were raised on The Boxcar Children books. We started reading this series with our first and continued with the next three. The story starts with four orphaned siblings living and taking care of each other in an abandoned boxcar. Long after our kids outgrew the books, we still call those wonderful times when our children are cooperative and kind with each other “boxcar kid” moments. Unfortunately, boxcar kid moments have been few in my house lately.

Bewitched was my Favorite TV Show. I loved the magic and twitching of the nose and everything seemed to turn out OK in the end. I can remember a lady coming to our small 2 roomed flat where my family of 5 lived when I was 8 yrs old (now 56!). She was completing a door to door survey on what TV shows the family liked best. How times have changed!

The Pizza Hut puppet they gave these out to keeps kids occupied in the restaurants. Lol wow it has memories.

I loved this series.. I still remember the song from this book.
