      Rubber band dyed eggs...seems like an easy enough way to get a unique look. We did this at Easter and was not very successful. I think we need smaller rubberbands because we had problems getting them tight enough and not breaking. Will try again next year with smaller rubber bands that fit tightly going only once around.

      Rubber band dyed eggs. Hard boil your eggs. Place egg in very lightest dye (let's say pale pink) for just a touch of color. Dry. Wrap several rubber bands around the egg, but leave plenty of pale pink spaces in between. Dye in medium color dye (such as hot pink, or magenta). Dry. Remove rubberbands. Dry again.     Kool-Eggs dyed with Kool-Aid. Great idea! No vinegar needed, just mix a packet of Kool-Aid with 2/3 C Water & dunk the eggs until they are the right color. The article suggests putting in less Kool-Aid & more water for the the PURPLE Kool-Aid because it will turn the egg a dark gray really quickly. Good to know. Happy Easter Kool-Eggs!!!!
