SOMETHING of a stir is caused each summer in Gelt Woods, near Brampton, Cumbria. A number of ‘fairy houses appear. The six-inch high houses first mysteriously appeared in 2010. No-one knows who put them there; some suggested an artist with a sense of humour but we prefer to believe the fairies themselves built them.
