Baltimore - my first home in America, still feels like my "home town". Where the School Sisters of Notre Dame, who looked like consecrated nuns back then, would have me sing "Oh Maryland my Maryland" followed by "Ave Regina" and then the Pledge of Allegience to the Flag. Where I was taught that I was an American, a Marylander and a Baltimorian. Federalism was taught but did not have to be taught because...we lived it. God Bless Baltimore.
