You can buy strips of fabric and you wouldn't have to sew much. These are a cute idea for leftover fabric.....and buttons of course :)

these would be cute on pocketbooks, as hair bows, necklaces, pins, etc. This pattern is from Etsy - but was also the 'Wiki How of the Day' earlier this week...

pretty flower diy... I figured these out two days before I saw these and when I thought about pinning it, I saw it here!! :D You can put them in two layers using a slightly smaller circle for the top layer petals and it's really cute to use two different patterns and cover the button in fabric used in your bow.

1. Cut out 10 scalloped circles from a book (or a newspaper, scrapbook paper, magazine...) 2. Gather all the circles and use a 1/16" punch to make a hole in the center. 3. Attach a brad (the color doesn't matter because you won't be seeing it in the end result) 4. Layer by layer, scrunch up each circle 5. Now just fluff out the flower and voila!

i'm starting to think that felt flowers could be so cute for a wedding bouquet
