Danish Butter Cookies (Vaniljekranse) I have amendments to the directions. First, cream the butter and sugar together, then add the egg and vanilla, mix again, and add the almonds and flour last. The directions are vague.. When I dumped everything together in one step, the cookies were flat. The second time I made them using my directions, and they were lovely. I sent them through a cookie press. They will spread a bit. Great flavor but delicate. They crumble easily.
