Chasing Cheerios: Painting Sunflowers Like Van Gogh

To make a raining rainbow fill a clear container with water and cover the top with shaving cream.  Drip food coloring onto the top of the shaving cream.  Then, watch and wait until  the rainbow begins to rain through the cloud of shaving cream. We were so excited when the colors started "raining" down from our cloud of shaving cream!

Fun memory game..popsicles. I used this idea for a Christmas gift for my 3 year old niece although I didn't use popsicle shapes. Just different scrapbook paper prints on one side and laminated with contact paper.

Popsicle Stick Christmas Tree- Glue Popsicle sticks to form a triangle, and paint green. Attach a piece of cardboard or card-stock as a trunk. Decorate tree with pompoms and foam shapes.

Freeze some small toys in water. Then let kids excavate the toys using a small hammer, salt, a cup of water, blunt kids' knives etc. Fun outdoor activity for summer.
