Love this--this is one of the projects that turns out great no matter what. Good opportunities for instruction in art techniques, too!

Literature Connection: Red Leaf Yellow Leaf ~ Fall Yarn Tree

I can see starting the tree in spring, children could add any tp rolls that they bring from home and as seasons change add different things or use it for counting days to 100 adding a new tube every day

The whole family did these for the fall and winter and I saved them. Once we do spring and summer I will frame them all individually in 8x10 frames and make a grid for one large piece of art.

Fall trees Q-tip painting. Cute and simple craft for the kids...heck, I'd like to try this myself! :)

Autumn decor - too cute and reminds me of my momma :)

Create these fun and colorful Fall Popcorn Trees from Jackie Currie! A great outdoor activity for a mild fall day.

I would buy Butcher Paper at the grocery store, roll it out and give my boy's water color paints, crayons and stamps to get creative on rainy days. Still have those masterpieces. Loads of fun. But this is a good idea too LEAF RUBBING @amy nelson-s

Q-tip art - some of my kids would sit for an hour and do this, but some of them would be begging to get up and play!
