I love the Bravo Board idea! I use a similar system in my class now. A weekly group is considered "Bravo Table" that gets a small prize for working hard together all week. I reward points for being on task or having great small group discussions. I like the emphasis on group cooperation/teamwork! It's a better lesson to teach the kids than individual competition and it has the added benefits of behavior management!

Bravo Board - Each group works together to earn points. At the end of the week, the group with the most points gets to put their name in for a free homework pass and earn the "Bravo Table" title for the entire next week!

A simple list of classroom reward ideas which can be use as a positive reinforcement aide in the classroom....

Put a different colored dot on each desk in a group. When you need to have one student from each table do something, you can just simply say "Green dots, come get the papers for your table." or "Orange dots, take your table's trash to the trashcan."

Group Work Reflection - great idea! So important to allow students to reflect on what went right and what needs to be worked on for next time when working in groups. And a sheet like this forces the students to actually discuss these things with their group members. www.teachthis.com.au

Good ideas for behavior management--very involved and does need tweaking, but I will steal ideas from this one!

@Kristi Berry Hedwig the Owl is a little stuffed owl I found at Kirkland's. I want to use him like the "Elf on a Shelf" and move him daily. I would sit him somewhere around the room where my kiddos can see him. If their desks are neat and clean they get a "Desk Owl" reward and treat of some kind. I took a picture of Hedwig and erased the background to insert him into the desk reward cards. You can also use the reward cards for upper grades just minus the moving owl.
