4 Tbsp gelatin (6 envelopes).1 cup cold water, 1 1/2 cups boiling water, 4 cups sugar,1/4 tsp flavored extract, 1-2 drops coloring. Soften gelatin in cold water for five minutes. Stir in boiling water. Then sugar. Boil 25 minutes. Stir constantly. Pour mixture into 4 pans. Add 1/4 tsp extract. 1-2 drops color to each pan. Cover overnight in the fridge. Cut using a knife dipped in hot water. Roll in sugar. Place on wax paper at room temperature; two days to crystallize.

Divinity Recipe ~ Divinity was always a part of our Christmas celebration. Tasting a lot like marshmallows, my Mom's billowy, white divinity was always one of my favorites. Each Christmas, I carefully pull out her recipes for Christmas candies, cookies, including her date nut roll recipe & divinity recipe, & make them for my own family. Her Christmas tradition continues.
2 Minute Microwave Fudge Recipe - delish! In large microwave safe bowl, sift together 2# powdered sugar, 1 1/3 C cocoa, 1/2 t salt. Slowly pour on top 1/2 C milk and 4 t vanilla. Lay two sticks of butter on top and heat in microwave for 3.5 minutes - or until butter is melted. Stir well. I added mini mini marshmallows (the kind you put on hot chocolate) and chopped pecans. AMAZING!
