Let The Mystery Be - Iris DeMent H.Q. This is what I wanted, not any rich folks' tycoon life, just to sit with friends and play music and talk writing. Look at Molly Mason on bass! That strong face, and the players - they've got it. Where did i take the eye off the ball.

Last episode and last scene from "Tranquility Base" S6, E23. The music is "Our Town" by Iris Dement.

Iris Dement - Our Town ..... just LOVE her voice & to have Emmylou Harris too ~ this is to die for !!

John Prine & Iris DeMent - In Spite of Ourselves; Iris DeMent has one of the most distinctive voices in music and John Prince is another of those underrated songwriters that more people should listen to.

The subtitles are new, I guess some people don't speak Twang.

Iris DeMent singing Pretty Saro from Songcatcher ~ Iris is actually singing this in real time, & Muse Watson is doing a fiddle pantomime using a brand new bow, which has never had any rosin applied. That makes the fiddle completely silent. It's fairly visible to a fiddler who knows what to look for... David Mansfield, the music director & writer/director's husband is playing off-camera while Iris sings, all in real time. That is discussed in Special Features on the DVD. Destiny4511
