Magazine Wall Art. DIY wall decor

Super cool, easy and portable magazine rack out of wire hangers and nails. #decor #portable #DIY

Easy DIY Magazine Display: uses clothes hangers mounted on a wall, easy to change regularly. More likely to get read than magazines stuffed in a rack! I'm replacing the overflowing and underused bathroom rack with 1 or 2 of these (always trying to keep my family reading). from Ohhh... DIY pin/clip board for a wall or sitting on a desk - could be used as an inspiration board or for reminders

simple art idea - cut letters out of magazine pages, fun for a girls room

Now, here's a great display for all those butterflies that I have made out of soda and beer cans.

The use of these hangers as towel bars would be more interesting if you used vintage ones with advertising printed or impressed on them and then hung them on interesting hooks - old metal schoolroom hooks, antique doorknobs, tiebacks, etc.

Pretty whimsical and original decorating with the walls. Plus the white makes it still look clean and frsh

Buy the Wood magazine organizers from Ikea Mail station made of magazine holders. I've found, if you have a little patience, you can use cereal boxes to make your own magazine holders. Cut to desired size and decoupage with a 50/50 glue and water solution. 2 -3 layers makes it quite strong. I use paper grocery bags or used copy paper for decoupaging. Once completely dry, stain or paint.

Clever DIY solution for both excess magazine storage and empty wall space. Great for those covers that are so beautiful they alone can be your art work.

Portable Hooks To create a belt rack that matches your other hangers (and doesn't require making holds in the wall), try this: Predrill a row of holes in alternating spots on both sides of a wooden clamp hanger, and screw in cup hooks. Make as many of these hangers as you need to accommodate your belts.

Chicken wire + clothes pins = pinboard. Or...use the same idea to hang oddly-shaped pieces of art that you can't find a frame for. Maybe a huge piece for a hall or something and use it like gallery wall. Hmm...

This would be SO easy to make! A couple 2X4 and some 90* wooden moulding - awesome! I think I'll make one for next to my chaise lounge to hold my magazines! Perfect!
