Showing you are all about RESPECT

Any teacher will tell you the school year runs through cycles, much like seasons in a year. Each year might bring new adventures, but ol.

One time a friend of mine had to walk into a classroom after we'd already started presenting speeches and afterwards we had another round of speeches and she just goes "I'm gonna go early because if I'm late again I'd actually have to walk into traffic" super casually and the (millennial) teacher near us quietly said "I think teenagers get more nihilistic every year"

If someone tells you that they have a trigger, you need to believe them, no matter how bizarre it might seem. http://imaginal.tumblr.com/post/158990828751

Do not invalidate other people's triggers by requiring an explanation

good idea for kids at home- If your kid obeys or does something nice to a sibling, or picks up his toys without being asked, etc, he/she gets something in the bucket (whatever you choose to fill it), if they do something wrong, hitting, saying mean thing, disobeying, etc, something gets taken out of the bucket. Once the bucket is full they get a reward- 20 min of TV time, stuff like that:)
