The Silent Girl by Tess Gerritsen - #9 in the Rizzoli and Isles series ---- Side note: Don't read the books thinking they are like the show. They aren't.

Tess Gerritsen's Rizzoli Isles Series -- Long before the TV show, there were books. And these books were awesome. They were so awesome, in fact, that I can't tolerate the show because it strays so far from the books. If you're looking for a good read, start with The Surgeon and keep going. Thrillers at their best!

The silent girl / Tess Gerritsen. Boston homicide detective Jane Rizzoli is already at the crime scene when medical examiner Maura Isles arrives on the Chinatown rooftop. Rizzoli's gut says they're on the trail of a twisted predator and when a monkey hair is found on the body, other clues point Rizzoli and Isles in the direction of the fable of the Monkey King. Rizzoli & Isles series; bk.9

The Silent Girl (Rizzoli and Isles Series #9) In the murky shadows of an alley lies a female’s severed hand. On the tenement rooftop above is the corpse belonging to that hand, a red-haired woman dressed all in black, her head nearly severed. Two strands of silver hair—not human—cling to her body. They are Rizzoli’s only clues, but they’re enough for her and medical examiner Maura Isles to make the startling discovery: that this violent death had a chilling prequel.

Violets Are Blue Alex Cross Mystery Thriller Series James Patterson

A delightful book, the first of a series, set in Botswana, about the warm, intelligent and gently philosophical Precious Ramotswe, Lady Detective, and her assistant , the slightly more acerbic Mma Makutsi. If you enjoy the first you will love them all.

This is so cool!! Type in a book or author you like and it will give you a list of similar books/authors that you may enjoy. I'm bookmarking this one :)

Another TV show is facing the difficult job of picking up the emotional pieces after the sudden death of a star, in this case, the apparent suicide of Lee Thompson Young of "Rizzoli & Isles:" The charismatic Young, 29, had been in the public eye a long time, as a teen-aged star of his own Disney Channel show who seemed to have made the transition to adult roles. Were you a fan of Young and his work?

twisted lincoln rhyme novel by jeffery deaver best mystery books

This is one of the best selling books of all time. Yes, it is a great mystery with memorable characters, but it is the real historical information about the Divine/Sacred Feminine that the story is based on that wakes up the memories in your soul. As an author, Dan Brown used the well researched historical information to create the story he wanted to tell... but it is still something everybody wanted to, and needed to know.

john grisham- This is one of my favorite books.
